The main laboratory
at Holton Heath. This photograph shows testing of the various materials produced
at Holton Heath. The "Quality Assurance" as it is called today, was of a
very high standard. In addition to testing at the various manufacturing stages,
the final product was also closely inspected by a separate body, the Inspectorate
of Naval Ordnance.
