Welcome to the historic village of Corfe Castle. Set in the Purbeck Hills, the village and its famous castle are built mainly from the Purbeck stone which is quarried locally and is probably the finest limestone available for building and polishing in England, and which is used throughout the world.
There is much to interest the visitor in this area - fine countryside with a multitude of bridle paths and footpaths, the coastline and an excellent steam railway.
